Music: Hoshi Souichirou - Shining Tears
I'm finally back after a long long hiatus! I'm really glad that I've got back the energy to revamp the whole blog again.
The flash MP3 player is so hard to install! And I need to find space to store the songs... It seems that the MP3 player will take ages to make its appearance in this blog...
OK... So I'm into Legendz lately.
From Wikipedia:
The Legendz anime moves away from the Pokémon-ish "gotta catch em all" and monster training business and deals more with the overall background of the monster characters and their story. The Legendz anime opens with the discovery of the "Soul Dolls" which contain legendary creatures of incredible power within them. The Dark Wiz company (DWC) wants access to all of them for unknown reasons, but four of the Soul Dolls go missing. The majority of the anime takes place in Brooklyn, New York City, with the Brooklyn Bridge as a much-featured landmark.
The animation style in Legendz is very strange, with sometimes bland backgrounds, other times good backgrounds, but a constant in the series is the goofy and simplistic human character designs contrasted by the shadowed and detailed monster designs. The story starts off being about Shu and his friends and has a comedic tone, but towards the end it seems to gravitate almost toward being about Shiron and has a somewhat darker story. The anime also features jazz background music preformed by David Matthews and his Orchestra. These make Legendz special and more entertaining than other anime.
I'm just too lazy to write a review for it, but then the anime is way too good to be missed. I watch it every Saturday and Sunday (and I even record it).
The ending theme of it is brilliant as well! It's called Dounimo Tomaranai ~Nonstop~. I'll definitely upload it here when I get my MP3 player working. The opening theme is great as well, but then the HK version really ruined the song... Sigh.
People living in Hong Kong can catch the show on TVB Jade at 5PM on Saturdays and Sundays!

Long time didn't write...
Heh heh let's start by introducing one very nice song, and it's by Miss Rachel Stevens!! I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) is definitely her best single so far. I hate to say this but her singles are not so good. Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex is funky, but I hate the sexual appeal theme. Funk Dory is nice, but sadly the single didn't do well. I don't see a big deal over Some Girls, but people seemed to enjoy it so much. (Sex appeal again...) More More More is OK only. Negotiate With Love is very nice, but the promotional video is just boring. So Good is good, but it's just Some Girls number 2 for me.
I love the promotional video of I Said Never Again - it's about Rachel was jailed for a crime she didn't commit. During her sentence she and other female tries to escape from the jail. I love the scene where Rachel is angry and push the doors of her jailmates. Attitude!! My Rach is back!! The energetic dance routine is another plus.
My Rach is back, but where's my Visa still?
The Australian Consulate said maybe my Visa application would be turned down. If it's the case, then I'm a happy person.
'Cause having gone through so many things, I've already lost the interest studying there.
See what'll happen next.

Now I'm not the wrong one, the consultancy is.
Some hours before my mum phoned the consultancy, and she required us to write a more detailed explaination letter.
What the hell? So we phoned the receptionist of the organization. The receptionist told me that my application form was handed to the Consulate on the 24 August.
C'mon, we gave everything to you on the 15 August. What on earth were you doing on those 9 days?
The consultancy, minutes later, phoned us and told us it was their (the whole organization) first time handling this type of case.
Wow, I pity the children in Hong Kong having 2 annoying parents nagging them.
So now we've got a plan B - my mum suggested that sending me to Japan instead, which obviously I'm really excited about.
Let's see what will happen next.
P.S
I'm thinking of deleting this blog and make a new one... Don't wanna be the target of spamming...

I was arguing with my grandparents on phone. Sigh. Finally victory was on my side.
Well basically my grandparents thought it's nice to live with a bunch of strangers in Australia.
They went "Oh, you can make a bunch of nice friends. Isn't that nice?" Hell no.
"There'll be people responsible for your meals as well!" My cooking is better so no thanks.
"You'll have to pay for your rent, water bill and stuff by yourself!" Do they know there's a thing called 'mail' in life?
"#$#$%%^$%^&!..." Would they stop doing their lectures on me?
My mum butt in and luckily, my grandparents seemed to chill out now...
I love the fact that they think for me, but sharing a flat with strangers is a no-go.

After a few years that S Club split, Jo O'Meara, the lead vocal of the group, is back in action finally!! She performed her new song on CD:UK yesterday.
Oh my, I can't be happier!! I miss you so much Jo!!
Her brand new single, What Hurts The Most, will be released on 26 September. Sigh, I heard that CDs in Asutralia are really expensive. Maybe I'll have to ask my mum to buy it for me then...
I just downloaded the music video of it as well. Below are some still captures.

Doesn't she look great?
To be honest, Jo's music is better than any pieces of songs that Rachel Stevens has released... (I'm still a big fan of Rach but song-wise she can't beat Jo...) Although I'm still finding the CD Single-2 of Rachel's Negotiate With Love and So Good. Where on earth are you two?
P.S
I was surfing in Yahoo!Hong Kong to find some dream pictures, so I typed 'dream' in the search field... And y'know what... In the related search field, there's Never Had A Dream Come True!! You see!? S Club still rocks!!

Yesterday night I downloaded an episode of ayu Ready?, which dream was the guest. After watching it, now I can say proudly that I, have officially become a huge dream fan.
And... I'm gonna share this episode with you guys!! However, due to my very limited Japanese knowledge, my translation of their conversation would be wrong. So do correct me if I got any mistakes...
So here begins the show!! ayu Ready?
Added on 29 August:
As requested, I'm gonna explain a bit. The show ayu Ready? is host by hamasaki ayumi, and for each show, ayumi will invite different artists as guests. In the show they will have a nice chat, some fun games and a live performance.
On thise episode, dream (the 8-girl pop group) was the guest and they showed us their specialties, their Doraemon drawing (ayu drew as well, and it's the highlight of the show XDD) and more!!

As always, the host was our hamasaki ayumi. She first welcomed the audience, and then the guest, dream!! Firstly, Hasebe Yu itroduced herself as the chairperson of the Chess Club during her primary six year. =P

Secondly let's move on to Yamamoto Sayaka (left). For me she's the cutest in dream. She got a good voice as well. =D And then let's greet Takamoto Aya (right).

After that Ai Risa (left) did her introduction as well. She left dream after the album "ID", but this piece of extra information does no harm to the show. Following Risa was Nakashima Ami (right). She is the funniest member in dream personally.

Nishida Shizuka (left) was next, before Abe Erie (right) introduced herself to the audience.

And lastly let's meet the team leader of dream, Tachibana Kana. She said her most fav ayu song is End roll. She cried for this song during karaoke and repeated listening to this song for two and a half hours in the train. By the way she's my most favourite member of dream. =)
After the introduction section, we move on to another section - "History of dream"! On 1st January, 2000, dream started off as a 3-girls pop-group and released their debut single Movin' on.

Well-recieved by the Japanese, the fanbase of them grew as they released some more popular singles, including Heart on Wave (left) and reality (right).

But on July 2002, one of the member decided to leave. After some months, a new dream - consisting of 8 mebers - was born!!

ayu asked Yu and Kana, the old dream members on what are their feelings about such a big change. Next, dream introduced their favourite dish from a restaurant. The restaurant was opened by their manager's lil' brother. Doesn't the dream's manger and her lil' brother look alike? (left) XP On the right side it is dream's favourite dish in the restaurant.

Both ayu and dream had chance to taste the dish. When ayu was eating, some of the audience shouted "Onegai?" XDD (The words in the capture were added by me by the way)
After some spoonful tastes of good food, the upcoming section was called "Who has got the best specialty?" Kana was the first one to show her specialty, which was mimicking ayu's singing!! (left) Though she only sang a few lines, her performance was well-received by the audience and of course, ayu and the rest of dream members. (right)

Secondly we had Erie, whose speciality was... Spilling the seeds quickly when eating watermelons!! (left) Upon hearing this, ayu was shocked. (right) XDD

The rest of dream shouted "START!!" when Erie just had her seat, but maybe she didn't get use to it, so she asked them to shout "3, 2, 1" instead. (left) XDD After Erie started, but some of the dream members made some funny statements which kept making Erie laugh. How evil they were. XDD

Mind you, the coming specialties are quite unhuman. Shizuka was next to perform, and she really could pull her skin!! She said her parents always did this to her during her childhood. Luckily mine never do it to me. XD

Lastly we had Yu, whose toes can spread really apart. (left)
Yu: I used to practise my toes just to stay close. (Right side capture)
ayu: You have to practise? XDD

So it's time for ayu to judge whose specialty was the most amazing, and Kana was the winner!!

There were audience demanding Kana to mimic ayu again, and Kana made some funny statements.
Kana: I'm afraid that the audience will become angry if I do it... Will I be kicked out of this show? (left)
XDD She decided to mimic ayu's MC during concerts instead. (right)

Now we come to the next section - it's time to for dream to question ayu!! They talked about ayu's house, which made ayu really helpless. =P

They talked about smelly feet as well, just right before one issue, "Do you wear underwear when you sleep?".
Yu: Sometimes I sleep naked in summer. (left)
The rest of dream members and ayu were surprised.
ayu: Why?
Yu: Because it's comfy! (right)
I can't stop laughing when watching this part. XDD

Kana spoke in, with her hands pressing on her head. (left) Therefore ayu asked if her head was swelling. (right)

Kana (fanning her face): My face is turning red, right?
Kana's talking speed started to accelarate, just made ayu curious (left) and asked Kana: Are you excited? (right) Kana was left embarrassed. XDD

Alright buddy... So we're coming to the last section - "ayu Cookie Time"!!
Yu picked a cookie, bit on it and found a small note, which read: Please draw a Doraemon. It actually made ayu scared.
When they were drawing, ayu asked in a very serious tune: Doraemon has eyes right? (left) XDD When ayu was about to finish, she cracked up and laughed evilly. (right) Well we'll see why she laughed. =P

First presented was Kana's Doraemon (left), then Risa's. (right)
ayu on Risa's drawing: Does Doraemon have eyebrows?

Erie's (left) and Ami's (right).

Aya's (left) and Sayaka's (right). Aya can really draw!! Sugoii!!

Yu's (left) and Shizuka's (right).
ayu on Yu's drawing: Why there're nipples?

As dream and the crowd demanded ayu to reveal her drawing...
ayu: Mine one is not cute...
And.... TADA~!!!!!! Alright it's scary. XDD
Let's have a comparison between ayu's work (left) with the original one (right). XDD
Before the show ended, dream and ayu performed I love dream world together.

Afterwords: I enjoy the programme very much. I don't understand why people always say dream is mimicking Morning Musume. Indeed, the coding system is, but dream develops its own music style just fine and they're not just a bunch of girls with cute faces. They're both talented in their own way. So hopefully dream will become a house-hold name some days.
